Interested in modeling?

One of the questions I get asked most often in relation to my photography work is, of course, "where do you find your models?" The answer is, some of them I ask and some of them volunteer. Over the years I have asked classmates, co-workers, friends, friends of friends, current and ex-girlfriends, and people I meet at gallery openings or just about anywhere else if they would model for my work. Thankfully most of the people I ask say yes, although not always. While I have worked with some aspiring and professional models, the majority of people who have posed for me are not professionals at all. They just wanted to model for whatever reason, whether it was to get some nice prints of themselves posing, or just for the experience of doing it.

Since I do this strictly in my free time and definitely not for profit, I work with models in exchange for prints and/or a CD-ROM of images. All models must be at least 18 years of age and willing to sign a standard model release form. Above all I am looking for variety, so there is no height or weight requirement and no upper age limit. I am also interested in your ideas, so if you have any particular images in mind that you'd like to do, I am sure we can work together.

Alternatively, if you would like to do a private shoot (where you would keep control of use of the images, for example if you want pictures only for yourself or as a gift for someone), my rates are very reasonable, please contact me and we can disuss what you would like to do.
